The reagents for the boilers and heating systems

The reagents for the treatment of the feedwater of the boilers and heating systems are produced according to the technical specifications (TS) U 24.6-34155997-003:2007 and are intended for:
  • the feedwater treatment of the steam and hot-water boilers, the protection of the steam and condensate lines the corrosion;
  • the correction of the water alkalinity;
  • the corrosion protection of the equipment of the heating and water supply systems of the energetic and industrial enterprises;
Depending on the composition of the used active components the following types of reagents are produced:

Type 1 – the deoxidizing agents for the binding of the dissolved oxygen in the feedwater and maintenance of the protective magnetite film on the metal surface. Depending on the active substance and its action, the deoxidizing agents of the type 1 can be of the following categories:
  • S – the deoxidizing agents based on the sulphites;
  • T – the deoxidizing agents based on the tannins;
  • VD – the volatile deoxidizing agents;
  • E – the deoxidizing agents based on the isoascorbic acid and its salts;
Type 2 – the reagents for the neutralization of the free carbon dioxide on the basis of the neutralizing and filming amines to protect the pipes of the steam and condensate line;

Type 3 – the alkalizing agents - the reagents to increase the hydrate alkalinity of the feedwater;

Type 4 – the multifunction reagents working as the corrosion and scale inhibitors, deoxidizing agents and dispersants for the processes of the boiler water treatment.
